Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)
A Collaborative Model of Care
Liberation-Based Therapy offers Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) through a collaborative partnership between Tatille Jackson, MFT-LP, and Dr. Maurice Hinson, MD.
KAP combines psychotherapy with physician-guided ketamine treatment to support healing from depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD and other conditions when clinically appropriate. Our approach is intentionally collaborative: your therapist guides the psychological aspects of treatment while your physician oversees the medical aspects, helping ensure safe, coordinated, and individualized care.
Therapy and Medicine, Working Together
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy combines two distinct areas of care.
Psychotherapy
Our therapist provides assessment, preparation, therapeutic support during dosing sessions, integration, and ongoing treatment planning.
&
Medical Care
Our physician evaluates medical eligibility, prescribes ketamine when clinically appropriate, reviews medications and health history, and provides medical oversight throughout treatment.
The therapist and physician collaborate as one coordinated care team.
Your KAP Treatment Team
KAP at Liberation-Based Therapy is built around collaboration between psychotherapy and medical care.
